Hello, I have testimony to share. If it matters to me, it matters to Jesus, my Lover, Saviour, and Bestest Best Friend.
Without getting too technical, one of my wishes was to use my Windows 11 machine with Laragon and the Windows built-in terminal for my development environment. This is so I have full control over the services running on my machine while still having access to Microsoft’s software like Word and Excel.
As I was studying for the Python segment of my course yesterday, I felt the Lord tell me, “Why don’t you put those services into the ‘PATH’ or environment variables?”. Unsure of the full steps, I also used prompt engineering to help me work through the challenge of the course of working through it.
After that, I opened up the Windows terminal and tested each of the packages to ensure that I got the setup right and they worked! Now I can use the Windows terminal alongside Laragon, instead of Laragon’s own bundled terminal.
